A self-described ADH-DJ, JAMEELA has trouble being defined in terms of genre. Reflecting the seemingly random way in which many of us consume music in the age of the internet, her style is often described as eclectic and hyper-active. As a resident for the Leeds-based power collective of womxn producers, DJs and visual artists, SLUT DROP, she has gained notoriety for her brazen approach to genre-mashing, mixing anything and everything from leftfield techno, bass, footwork, jungle, to hip-hop and jazz. Her unique style has gained her bookings around the country, supporting the likes of Addison Groove, A. Fruit and Pangaea, to name a few. She has also guested on NTS Radio, KMAH Radio, and has a regular slot on Sable Radio.
